Mark McCulloch graduated from the University of Oregon Honors College in 1964 with a B.A. degree in history. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1967 and began practicing that year in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. McCulloch’s practice was varied in the first fifteen years, and included transactional matters involving real estate, as well as extensive litigation. In the last twenty five years, Mr. McCulloch’s practice has focused on litigation, and included large asset divorces, business disputes, personal injury, securities, and professional malpractice – mostly involving lawyers, and medical professionals.
Mr. McCulloch has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal courts, including matters in well over half the counties of Oregon. He has also handled dozens of appeals to the Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Supreme Court.
Mr. McCulloch has enjoyed an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for nearly 30 years, and a “Super Lawyer” rating since 2006. Mr. McCulloch has been active in the Oregon State Bar, particularly with matters involving lawyers. He was a founding member and former President of the Gus Solomon Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and served on the Disciplinary Review Board and Legal Ethics Committee. He is also a longtime member and President of the Multnomah County Law Library Association, former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and presently serves on the Board of Directors of William Temple House.
